Description

The valve should automatically open if the pressure in the pipeline increases and drain the water to the required amount to prevent the pressure in the line from increasing. In this system, the valve of the bivolt system automatically closes, increasing the pressure above the diaphragm, and ultimately the valve disc is in a fully sealed state.

Installation, operation and maintenance instructions for automatic safety control valve (anti-water hammer type)

1. Pre-installation checks
  • The internal valve path should be cleaned of any contamination, solid particles, or packaging debris.
  • All control connections, pilots, and mechanical components should be inspected for visual integrity, leaks, and blockages.
  • If the valve has a storage tank, its initial pressure should be adjusted according to the instructions.

2. How to install in the plumbing system
  • The valve must be installed in a way that the flow direction matches the arrow marked on the body.
  • The installation position (horizontal or vertical) should be selected based on the product design and manufacturer's recommendations.
  • For better sealing, use appropriate gaskets between the flanges and tighten the nuts evenly and crosswise.
  • Before fully connecting, ensure that the valve is level and the flanges are precisely aligned.

3. Initial setup
  • First, slowly insert the valve into the circuit and ensure that there are no leaks in the connections.
  • Pilot or control valve settings should be made based on the system's operating conditions.
  • During initial startup, the valve's performance should be tested during a sudden flow interruption (e.g., simulating a pump shutdown).

4. Storage conditions in warehouse
  • Milk should be stored indoors, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • During long periods of storage, uncoated metal surfaces should be coated with protective materials to prevent rust.
  • Avoid placing the valve under mechanical pressure or in the vicinity of corrosive materials.
  • If possible, store the valve in a horizontal position on a wooden stand or pallet.

5. Periodic maintenance and service
  • The recommended inspection period is every 6 months or as determined by the site's operating conditions.
  • At each visit, the performance of the pilot, diaphragm, valve, and moving components should be checked.
  • If the circuit is contaminated, the filter parts and control channels should be washed or replaced.
  • Check for leaks and inspect and tighten all nuts and bolts as necessary.
  • The paint or plating coating should be repaired if damaged.

6. Safety tips and warnings
  • When repairing or disassembling the valve, the line pressure must be completely relieved.
  • Adjustments or opening of the valve should only be made by trained and authorized personnel.
  • The use of non-standard or unapproved spare parts can cause improper operation and damage.

7. Special recommendations for anti-ram valves
  • The volume and pressure of the air accumulator must be adjusted according to the system's needs to achieve optimal performance.
  • The slow closing of the valve should be adjusted to prevent negative pressure.
  • If a sudden drop in pressure or change in valve performance is observed, a technical inspection should be performed immediately.
