Pre-operation and installation tips

• Before using the valve, the pipeline must be thoroughly flushed and cleaned of any foreign objects.
• To prevent freezing, it is recommended to install the valve indoors. If forced to install outdoors, the valve must be protected from the weather.
• Avoid storing milk in direct sunlight. It is best to store it in a dry, covered environment.
• To prevent disruption to the valve's operation, it is recommended to install a strainer at the valve inlet.
• Avoid burying valve directly in the soil.
• When moving the valve, avoid any impact to its components.
• To lift the valve, only use authorized locations such as molds or special stands, and never use flange holes or control circuit components.
• If the valve has been stored in storage for more than two years, it must be inspected and retested before installation.
• When installing, ensure that the flange surfaces and sealing areas are clean.
• The direction of fluid flow is marked on the valve body; installing the valve in reverse will disrupt its function.
• The difference in pressure between high and low creates force in the valve; therefore, it is essential to install appropriate support before and after the valve.
• Sufficient space should be provided around the valve for periodic repairs and services.

Globe valve installation tips

• The distance between the two flanges during installation must be at least 20 mm greater than the length of the valve to allow for the installation of the gasket without damage.
• The pipes between which the valve is installed must be perfectly aligned and parallel to each other.
• Flange bolts should be tightened evenly and in a crisscross pattern to prevent stress from entering the valve body.

Periodic maintenance and service schedule

• Every 6 months: Clean the filters in the flow path.
• Monthly: Open and close the valve completely to ensure proper operation and prevent jamming.
• Monthly: Keep the valve shaft clean and lubricate it properly.
• Annually: Check the overall performance of the valve and ensure that the components are functioning properly.
• Every 4 years: Dismantle all moving parts, clean any deposits, and replace worn or defective parts.
