Description
- Application: When installing valves and fittings in their places, using a detachable connection provides adequate working space. Also, when there is a need to separate the valves from the pipeline, the valves can be easily removed from the pipeline by shortening the length of the detachable connection. The advantages of this product include the following:
- Creating a rigid connection between valves and pipelines or between two pipelines
- Neutralizing radial and axial forces acting on the valve
- Correction of excess or fractional length of pipeline
- Material type:
- Body: st37 steel
- Body: Ductile iron EN 1563/EN-GJS-400-15
- Rubber: NBR or EPDM
- Bolts and nuts: Galvanized Steel
- Nominal size: DN 50-2000
- Nominal pressure: PN10-PN16-PN25
- Design & Produce Technical Specifications
- Flange standard according to: DIN EN 1092-1 (DIN 2501), ISO 7005-1 and DIN EN 1092-2 (DIN 2501), ISO 7005-2
- Final inspection test standard: ISO 5208 or DIN EN 12266
- Paint coating: Coating with epoxy polyamide paint and epoxy powder paint with an electrostatic spraying mechanism with a thickness of 250 microns can be applied according to customer order and in accordance with DIN 30667 standard.
Features and advantages of ductile iron movable joints compared to steel:
Due to significant progress in the casting industry in the 1990s, it became possible to produce very high quality products. Given the desirable properties of ductile iron compared to steel in various fields and its ease of casting compared to steel, in many cases the steel industry gave way to ductile products. Some of the advantages of ductile iron are as follows:
- The body of the above product is manufactured in one piece.
- High corrosion resistance compared to steel in high humidity environments
- No need for welding in ductile products (welded areas are prone to corrosion).
- Reasonable cost of ductile iron compared to steel
- Mass and uniform production according to the designed mold, in the shortest possible time.

Instructions for use:
- When storing gate valves in storage, their sealing slide should be fully open.
- The environmental conditions of the warehouse to increase the lifespan of the product and rubber parts should be as follows:
- Ambient temperature maximum 60 degrees Celsius
- Maximum ambient humidity 70%
- Away from direct sunlight
- Due to corrosion and oxidation of the product in case of discoloration, care must be taken during transportation to prevent impact.
- When transporting and unloading from the machine, avoid throwing or impacting it, as this will damage the axle rod and the product’s color.
- Never lift the valve using its handle.
- Before installing the valve, the pipe path must be cleaned of any dirt and debris such as gravel, wood particles, bolts, etc. If there is a possibility of such objects entering the pipeline, a strainer must be installed in the path of the valve.
- When closing the valve, it is necessary to ensure that there is no tension in the connection. If the valve is connected via a flange, the corresponding screws should be tightened crosswise.
